I was thrilled to see that Enova was recognized as one of Computerworld Magazine’s 2013 Top 100 Best Place to Work in IT. When I read the story (http://bit.ly/12Edu84) and saw the other companies in the list, I was filled with pride in our achievement – congratulations to the entire Enova team. Although the focus is on our IT – I know that everyone at Enova plays a part in making this a great place to work.
This is our first time to be featured in this ranking, but it follows on the heels of our Brill Street Award for #1 in Emerging Gen Y Talent in Chicago – good evidence that we can look forward to many more years of recognition and achievement. I think it’s especially telling that Enova was rated #6 for Career Development in addition to #75 overall (up against much larger organizations – averaging $14B in revenues). Enova has a great track record of developing and promoting its employees and I’m glad to see that recognized.
One of the secrets to our success is commitment to our values, in particular our values of “Top Talent and Teamwork” and “Best Answer Wins.” When you combine those two, it makes it much easier to create and sustain a dynamic IT work environment. The Talent team has also put together a great basket of benefits that I know we all enjoy.
You can get a good feel for what Computerworld found in the surveys our employees completed by reading the Enova profile and the interviews with Peter Brousalis and Daniel Springer (http://bit.ly/15cWTnM) or in the separate story highlighting Enova’s “No Limit Code’Em” recruiting events (http://bit.ly/1bMD4Hu).
Thanks to everyone for making Enova a great place to work!
